How do I download a magazine issue within the app?
If you are magazine subscriber, go to your library by tapping the library icon. The issues you are entitled to will be available. Tap "download" on the one you want. If you are not a subscriber, you can purchase individual issues or an annual subscription.
How long should it take to download a magazine issue?
Typically, it will take less than five minutes to download an item in the app.
What happens if I exit the app while an issue is downloading?
The download will pause until the app is re-opened and that item is tapped again. The issue will resume downloading from where it left off. If you want to ensure that the item downloads without interruption, you can disable the "auto-lock" function on your device, which is found under General Settings.
What happens when it is time to renew my subscription?
If you subscribed through the iTunes store, the one-year subscription of Books & Culture will automatically renew unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. iTunes will automatically charge your account at the same price you purchased your subscription at for each annual renewal period 24-hours prior to the end of the current period.
If I remove an item from my iPad, can I get it back?
Yes. Simply find the item in the Library under "available issues" and touch "download". The app will remember that you have already purchased it.
